About me
My name is Owen, and I am currently studying Computer Information Systems at DMACC. I am interested in learning how websites are created and how different technologies work together to create useful and interactive experiences. One of the things I enjoy about technology is that there is always something new to learn. Web development gives me the opportunity to combine creativity with technical skills, which is one of the reasons I am interested in this field.
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, and playing videogames. Traveling is one of my favorite things because I enjoy visiting new places and seeing things that I have not experienced before. As I continue through my classes, I hope to become more comfortable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development tools. I know that building websites takes practice, so I am looking forward to improving my skills by working on different projects throughout the course. This website will give me a place to organize my work and show some of the things I have learned.
This website is my foundational portfolio for this course. It will give me a place to showcase projects, assignments, and other work that I complete while learning about web development. As I work through the course, I expect this website to change and improve along with my skills. It will allow me to organize my work in one place and provide an example of what I have learned.
Creating this portfolio is also part of my learning journey because it gives me an opportunity to practice the concepts that we learn in class. I can use HTML to organize the content, CSS to customize the appearance, and Bootstrap to create responsive layouts and styled components. Later, I can also use JavaScript to add more interactive features. Working on the website will help me understand how these different technologies can work together to create a complete website.
My goal is to continue improving my web development skills throughout the course. I hope that the projects I add to this portfolio will show my progress from the beginning of the course to the end. This website is not only a place to display completed assignments, but also a way to document the skills and knowledge I gain along the way. I look forward to continuing to learn and making this portfolio more useful and polished as the course progresses.
